Bumula Member of Parliament Jack Wamboka has come out to say that his life is in danger days after introducing a motion of Impeachment against Agriculture Cabinet Secretary Mithika Linturi over fake fertiliser scandal.
According to the MP, he has received threats to his life in connection to the motion he filed over fake fertiliser scandal in Parliament to have the Agriculture CS impeached.

Bumula MP now wants the National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetangula to approve the motion of impeachment as his life is on the line over the same.
“The CS must be impeached to restore sanity in the ministry and fast-track farmers compensation. The impeachment will cushion farmers from unscrupulous fertilizer business deals.”
This comes days after the MP filed a motion backed by signatures of 110 legislatures who feel that the impeachment of the CS should happen. It now remains unclear whether the speaker will approve the motion.
“The motion is rooted in grave allegations of gross misconduct, violation of constitutional provisions and serious breach of public trust. The evidence presented before the assembly paints a distressing picture of negligence, mismanagement and potential of criminal activities within the ministry.”
However, the MP has said that the motion is not in anyway politically motivated or witch hunt against the CS rather its about the plight of kenyan farmers who were affected by the fake fertiliser scandal.
