Kiharu Member of Parliament Ndindi Nyoro who is a top member of United Democratic Alliance (UDA) has confirmed the death of a coast Deputy Governor.
Speaking through his social media platforms, Ndindi Nyoro who Confimed the death of the Deputy Governor Raphael Munyua Ndung’u who is the Deputy Governor of Lamu County sent his condolences to the family.
According to Nyoro, the death of the Lamu Deputy Governor is a great loss for people of Lamu County and that the country has lost a great leader whom he termed as the servant of the people.

“Our sincere condolences to the great people of Lamu County following the passing on of the Lamu County Deputy Governor Hon Raphael Munyua Ndung’u. Our thoughts are with the Family.”
Raphael Ndung’u ascended to the Lamu Deputy Governor position after successfully running on a joint Amani National Congress (ANC) ticket alongside current Governor Issa Timamy.
Reports indicate that the Deputy Governor has been battling illness for quite some time before his death. Several leaders have sent in their condolences to the family including President William Ruto.
