Chaos was reported on Monday in the famous Dagoretti High School after students went against each other resulting to several students admitted in hospital.
According to reports, chaos started on Sunday over a basketball match that the Dagoretti High School students were playing before turning physical between kenyan students and south Sudanese students at the school.
Two students, a form one and a form four got into a fight before escalating to a whole school with tensions remaining high on Sunday night. However, more chaotic scenes were reported resulting to several police deployment.

Reports indicate that already eleven students have been admitted to hospital after they were attacked using hockey sticks and stones in the chaos. The eleven are said to be Sudanese students who have been admitted at Garden Medical Clinic.
It’s still unclear whether there was more to it than just a basketball match as they claim, but police in tens have been deployed to the school as tension remain high even as at Monday, 11 AM.
This comes amid unrest that has been witnessed in various schools in recent past with others going as far as torching their dormitories as per the preliminary reports on some school fire incidents.

As the situation remain tense, Police confirm that more contigent of officers will be spending the better part of the day at the school and even to the night in a bid to restore normalcy and find the cause of violence.
Latest reports indicate that Dagoretti High has been closed indefinitely due to the tension that was witnessed in the school. School property was also destroyed in the melee.
