Berbecue who was speaking against the Presidential Transitional Council said that the new council should be ready for intense opposition from him and his gang due to failure of inclusivity.
According to reports, Berbecue complained that the new council failed to include his team in the talks about transition and taking over government from Former Haiti Prime Minister Ariel Henry.
This comes just hours after President William Ruto pledged his support towards the transitional council in their quest for peace amid conflict from terror gangs in Haiti.
“The swearing-in of the Transitional Presidential Council (TPC) today is a crucial step in the political transition of Haiti. The TPC has the singular task of moving speedily to re-establish key organs of the State critical to the restoration of law and order.”
However, Berbecue has mantained that the council should reconsider their actions, pledging to oppose them vigorously. He aimed to thwart any potential foreign intervention that might be incited by the council.
This latest warning comes months after Berbecue sent another message to Kenyan police, promising them fierce opposition if they go ahead with their deployment plans.
