The Ethics and Anti Corruption Commission (EACC) has confirmed the summoning of a woman accused of holding eight state jobs Jennifer Gitiri to be interrogated next week.
Jennifer Gitiri was exposed through a petition by Dr. Magare Gikenyi at the High Court. Dr Gikenyi claimed that Gitiri has been drawing salaries and allocations from the eight state jobs she holds, disadvantaging many other deserving Kenyans.
Among the jobs she is accused of holding include being; the deputy director for Assets Recovery Agency (ARA), corporate secretary at the Assets Recovery Agency, acting chief executive officer and acting secretary of the CLE. Jennifer Gitiri also sits on several boards as a representative of the Attorney-General.

Additionally, she allegedly sits on various boards including; the Kenya Law Reporting (KLR), Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA), Witness Protection Agency and the Victim Protection Agency, representing Attorney General Justin Muturi.
EACC CEO Twalib Mbarak has said the commision will interrogate Gitiri next week to establish whether she holds the positions for sure and if so, how she acquired them.
“Next week she will be our visitor. We are not treating her as a suspect, we want to get the facts… How did she end up having those appointments and are they governed within the law that it’s fine for her to have them or not. If we find that they were not proper, there are two ways we can go about it. Either issue an advisory or take the other unpleasant route.”
The EACC CEO has insisted that they will move in speed to solve these cases and line them for the office of the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) to handle them in court.
