Last week, a woman became a prime suspect in her husband’s disappearance after her report conflicted with the Uber tracker provided by the cab company he was working for.
The woman Teresia Masese reported that her husband, Evans Moracha did not come home that fateful evening. This is according to a report she filed when reporting a missing person. Evans’ family went an extra mile to request for the Uber tracker information and it was confirmed Evans went home. This conflicted with what Teresia reported thus making her a suspect.

The body of Evans Moracha was discovered dumped in Maragua Dam in Murang’a County on October 14. Police are now requesting for 21 more days to detain his wife pending further investigation before arraignment in court.
The police are now analyzing phone records to arrest accomplices who helped Teresia commit the murder. As it stands, Teresia will be charged with murder.
The 47 year Old victim’s family is asking for justice for their kin. It’s however unclear what led to the conflict that led to such an action. The body was positively identified as Evans and it’s awaiting postmortem today.
Preliminary findings indicate that the wife had frequent communication with the deceased. Call data revealed that she was the last person to speak to her spouse at 9:06 PM on Wednesday last week, just four hours before he was picked up from his home at 1 a.m. on Thursday.
Police are now collecting more evidence and hunting down accomplices to charge them with the murder. There has been rising cases of domestic violence, murder and vigorous disagreement that lead to physical harm. Couples should seek marriage counselling whenever they are facing challenges in their marriage.
