Kenyans have been concerned by utterances by Nyandarua Senator Methu Muhia after the senator said that Hustler Fund limits should be awarded according to tribes and higher for tribes who voted for the current government.
Senator Methu Muhia who is mourning the death of his father was speaking during the burial said that the government should consider shareholders with higher fuliza limits and give lower fuliza limits to tribes considered to be of opposition.
In a clip widely shared on social media, the senator is heard speaking in Kiswahili telling listeners that they should not ask why their limits are low if their names aren’t from the “tribes that formed the government.”

“If the name starts with Kip, Chep, Kamau, Njoroge, addthem limits. The other lot namely Omollo and Omondi you can lower their limits a little bit.”
This statement has angered kenyans online who have bashed the leader for being tribalistic and trying to propagate divisive politics even in his father’s burial.
