Kenyans have expressed their concerns after a viral video that was done by Eric Omondi exposed the brutal nature of Nairobi Kanjo harassing traders in Nairobi.
In a video that has gone viral, kanjos are seeing harassing and throwing some traders in the van and locking them inside just before Eric Omondi arrived at the scene where they were conducting the operation.
The video that has been addressed to Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja has two women writhing in pain after allegedly been wrestled to the ground by the officials.

Through his social media page X, Eric Omondi expressed how he saw kanjos lift a woman and drop them by their backs before he started recording them moments before they sped off.
“ @SakajaJohnson !TODAY I CAUGHT THEM IN THE ACT!!! SOOO BRUTAL!!! I SAW A MAN LIFT UP A WOMAN AND DROP THEM!!! These are our Brothers and Sisters STRUGGLING TO MAKE ENDS MEET TO PUT FOOD ON THE TABLE. OUR TIME IS COMING!!! PLEASE WATCH TO THE END.”
According to the traders, they are harassed by the famous kanjos despite their efforts to pay a certain ammount on Tuesday and Thursday to them allegedly for safety.
However, on the fateful day, the traders claim kanjos wanted to extort them for their freedom and those who were not able to raise the ammount immediately were thrown into a waiting van before speeding off.

The video has now caused an uproar on social media with users blaming the Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja for not addressing the menace by his officers who have been criticised time and again.
Sakaja was yet to respond to claims of Kanjo harassing traders by the time of writing this article.
