Former President Uhuru Kenyatta has landed a new job amid online speculations that he has been unwell and hospitalised.
According to reports, Uhuru Kenyatta has landed a new job in the board of the Tana High-Level Forum on Security in Africa, a prominent role in Africa following his recent work on high-stakes missions for the African Union.
The Tana Forum, a leading African platform on peace and security matters, officially welcomed Kenyatta as a board member as Kenyatta brings his vast expertise and diplomatic experience to the organisation.

The Forum brings together leaders from diverse sectors to craft African-led solutions for security challenges facing the continent with Uhuru’s role being providing strategic oversight and shaping the broad agenda for the Forum’s annual discussions.
This new position points to Uhuru’s ongoing commitment to pan-Africanism and the development of peace and security across Africa and his experience will now be instrumental in guiding Tana Forum’s mission to push African leadership to take ownership of security solutions.
Tana Forum, chaired by former Nigerian president Olusegun Obasanjo, comprises a lineup of influential African leaders. Uhuru will serve alongside notable figures, including former Ghanaian President John Dramani Mahama, former Malawian President Joyce Banda, and Professor Patrick Lumumba.
The new job comes amid speculations that the former Kenyan President Uhuru is unwell and hospitalised out of the country by a section of online media users but his family or the state is yet to issue the statement on the romours.
