As Gachagua’s Impeachment looms within the shadows, top United Democratic Alliance (UDA) Member of Parliament has come out to explain the source of tension between Ruto and Gachagua.
Kimilili Member of Parliament Didmus Barasa has thrown a jab at the Deputy President just hours after the Gachagua held a rally at Nairobi where he dared those plotting his impeachment to “bring it on”
However, Didmus Barasa has claimed that the source of dispute between the President and his Deputy is the selection of the cabinet that Barasa claimed Ruto picked from areas that didn’t vote for UDA,something that Gachagua did not agree with.

“Gachagua is accusing the President of the Republic of Kenya for picking kenyans from regions that never voted for us (UDA) and gave them positions as Cabinet Secretaries and other positions in government.”
The controversial Legislature further took the opportunity to send a message to the Deputy President, telling him that his move is tribal and unfortunate as a leader in this country.
“I want to respectfully address my Deputy President, my Boss. His phylosopgy is retrogressive, unfortunate, regretable and is basically tribal bigotry. There is no correlation betwen thr number of votes from a particular region and the level of competence from that region.”
This comes days after speculation started flying on the tension betwen Ruto and Gachagua that led to him missing out Ruto’s Nyeri meeting, which has further escalated to planned Impeachment. However, Gachagua said he is going nowhere.
