President William Ruto has today, on Wednesday 4th of October night reorganized his Cabinet, in a move that saw various ministries merged and renamed in the process.
President Ruto expanded the Office of the Prime Cabinet Secretary to include the Ministry of Foreign and Diaspora Affairs, headed by Musalia Mudavadi as one.
Moses Kuria has been moved from his Trade docket to the Ministry of Public Service, Performance and Delivery Management. This comes after Kuria has been uttering controversial statements that have rubbed kenyans the wrong way
Alfred Mutua, on the other hand, leaves the Foreign Affairs ministry to head the Tourism and Wildlife docket that was headed by Peninah Malonza
Former Nominated Senator Isaac Mwaura has been appointed as government spokesperson.
Mwaura will be deputized by Ms. Mwanaisha Chidzuga and Gabriel Muthuma
Rebecca Miano who was the cabinet Secretary for the East African Community, Arid and Semi-Arid Lands and Regional Development of Kenya has been moved to Investments, Trade and Industry
Alice Wahome who was the Cabinet Secretary for water sanitation and irrigation has been moved to the Ministry of Lands, Public Works, Housing Urban Devt.
Zachariah Mwangi Njeru has veen appointed to the Ministry of Water, Sanitation and irrigation that was previously held by Hon Alice Wahome
Aisha Jumwa who was the Cabinet Secretary for Public Service has been moved to serve as the Cabinet Secretary for Gender
This changes have been made by President William Ruto and will take effect immediately in his first ever cabinet reshuffle since taking office. Will the changes bring the change that William Ruto wants in his quest to impact the lives of Hustlers positively or its just another case of same monkeys in a different forest.
