Shock hit residents of Narok after the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) sleuths recovered Ruto’s stolen Subsidised Fertilizer in a church in the area.
Residents who could not hide their shock in Narok said they did not expect stolen goods to be hidden in a holy place and that it is very unfortunate.
According to reports, the operation was conducted that led to the recovery of 252 bags of President William Ruto’s stolen subsidised fertilizer and other stolen property concealed in the Grace Covenant Church in Narok.

Police reports indicate that a farm manager of a Kericho-based businessman was the custodian of Ruto’s stolen Subsidised fertilizer that was kept under lock and key at the church in Narok.
However, the farm manager was arrested and arraigned at the Milimani Law Court. He will be charged with possession of stolen property with possible sentencing.
“The arraigned suspect was released on a Ksh500,000 cash bail pending the 1st hearing of the case on Friday, January 5, 2024.”
It’s however unclear whether the kericho based businessman also had a hand in the loot that will link him directly to the crime..

Police are also in pursuit of the second suspect believed to be the supplier of the said fertilizer who is said to be a north rift dealer who police say had brushed shoulders with the law previously over similar offences.
Church officials were however nowhere to be found and police are yet to establish how the farm manager got access to the church premises and who among the church leaders collided with the manager to store stolen goods in the church.
Investigations are currently ongoing to bring all perpetrators to book.
