A civilian is said to have shot at least three people in Mombasa over their involvement in the ongoing Finance Bill Protests in the city.
According to reports, the man who is a civilian gun holder, was angered by the protesters who were busy picketing in the town before he aimed at the protesters at close range.

It’s still unclear whether there was casualties among the people who were shot in Mombasa but reports suggest that they were rushed to hospital for specialised medical attention and further reports to be revealed.
However, in response, the fellow youths who were protesting torched several vehicles after the shooting incident with police being overpowered by the irrated youths who couldn’t take any of it.
The shooter is said to have escaped to Qafeee Point Restaurant in Mombasa with protesters baying for his blood. The restaurant is said to have closed the man in their establishment.

Its still unclear whether the man is a licensed gun holder or what led to the commotion for him to open fire at the three. However, the Qafeee Point Restaurant is saidbto have also been badly vandalised.
