Security has been beefed up in Moi Girls Eldoret ahead of the KCSE 2023 exam release that is expected to happen from 10 AM today.
Sources at the Ministry of Education say that the process of marking, moderation and compiling of the results is complete and the release will happen today, January 8th at Moi Girls Eldoret.
According to reports, the Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu will today brief the President who was in Uasin Gishu county during the weekend before proceeding to Moi girls for the official release of the results.

The Ministry of Education had announced that the Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) will provide ready results by the second week of January and today is the day hundred of thousands of candidates will know their fate.
Reports indicate that more students will score high grades in the KCSE 2023 exam release due to the new grading system that was adopted by the Ministry of Education through the Presidential Working Party initiative.
Over 903,000 candidates sat for the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examination and will be expecting their results this morning as they plan for their next step in their life.

The Cabinet Secretary also revealed that parents, guardians and students will in this year access their results through a website in order to avoid the discrepancies that were witnessed in the KCPE 2023 results release.
The website, according to KNEC will be able to serve all the users without technical hitches as they plan to do away with the SMS way of relaying results. This will be absolutely free as compared to the Ksh. 25 that was previously used by parents to get the results through SMS.
