President William Ruto’s Cabinet Secretaries have announced fresh appointments in their respective ministries for the next three years.
According to reports, Energy and Petroleum Cabinet Secretary Opiyo Wandayi, Mining Cabinet Secretary Hassan Joho and Transport Cabinet Secretary Davis Chirchir have announced several fresh appointments.
Energy and Petroleum Cabinet Secretary Opiyo Wandayi has appointed Lilian Bokeeye Mahiri-Zaja and Henry Gathara Karinga as members of the Kenya Petroleum Refineries Limited Board to serve in their roles for three years.

Mining Cabinet Secretary Hassan Joho announced the appointments of Kennedy Mungai, Maurice Amalemba and Jane Njeri Ng’ang’a, to be members of the Nakuru County Artisinal Mining Committee and gazetted their appointments.
Additionally, Joho also appointed Mathew Kiptum Keter, Eliud Biwott, Felix Kipkemei Ng’etich, Sylvanus Too, Sally Kiboss, Simon Rotich Sylvanus Too, Joseph M. Kopejo, Wycliffe Chepkwony, George Gitau Kimani and Simon Saitoti Lekoora to be members of the Nandi County Artisinal Mining Committee, for three years.
Transport Cabinet Secretary Davis Chirchir on the other hand also announced changes in his ministry after he appointed Philip Salau Mpaayei and Peter Gathenya Githinji, to be members of the Board of the Kenya Railways Corporation.
In addition, Environment Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale also appointed David Njuguna Njoroge as a member of the National Environmental Tribunal, for three years, starting September 27, 2024 in a gazette notice dated September 27th.

This comes just a week after Cabinet Secretaries for Mining Hassan Joho and his Treasury counterpart John Mbadi announced fresh appointments in their ministries in a bid to kick off their ideologies to push their respective ministries forward.
