President William Ruto has told off those against his government’s plans especially the affordable housing project and said that he is going to use his powers that kenyans gave him against them
Speaking in Kisii during a thanksgiving mass at the Cardinal Otunga Mosocho High School in Kitutu Chache, the President said that the Housing Levy was meant to create employment other than houses for kenyans.
According to the President, those going to court to prevent the government’s affordable housing project are the enemies of Kenya and the people of kenya and he will deal with them.

Those people who are going to court to block us from undertaking the affordable housing project are the enemies of Kenya. I want to assure you that you gave me the powers and i will deal with them.”
Thr President added that all he needs from kenyans is prayers. Adding that he will use the sword which- means power- he was given during the swearing in ceremony to deal with those opposing the housing levy through the courts.
“All I need is prayers. I was already given the sword. Do you think it’s for cutting vegetables? It’s for dealing with all these criminals.”

The President was in a thanksgiving mass in Kisii together with his Deputy Rigathi Gachagua and the Kisii Governor Simba Arati. He accused the courts of derailing the projects meant to help kenyans.
Over the last few months, the courts have been a busy battlefront with various government’s projects put on hold due to being unconstitutional. Some of these projects are Housing Levy, Social Health Insurance Fund, Privatisation Of State Corporations and many others that President William Ruto’s administration wanted to implement.
