President William Ruto has responded to calls by kenyans to send all his cabinet secretaries home and dismiss them over incompetencies and make fresh appointments.
Speaking during a X space engagement, the President noted that he has heard the people’s voice but will consider other means of addressing matters raised by the public against some of the cabinet secretaries.

According to Ruto, he will not dismiss and dissolve his cabinet secretaries but he will take different actions and other interventions to ensure that his cabinet falls back in line and work for the best interests of kenyans.
“I will not dissolve Cabinet because I am in the process of looking at things differently.” However, the President said that all corrupt leaders that will be taken to court will be fired.
“Several staff of the National Cereals and Produce Board (NCPB) are in court to answer for their involvement in the fertilizer scandal. The day any CS is taken to court, I will fire them.”
This comes after the public took to social media to call President Ruto for the dismissal of some of the Cabinet Secretaries on account of alleged non-performance and corruption.
The calls were reinforced during the Anti-Finance Bill Protestes that happened for the past few weeks with protesters calling him to crack a whip on some of the top government officials.
