Maybe it’s just a normal black-out.
A possible explanation as to why it happened can be because of just technical issues on Kenya Power. This can be normal on any power connections. But the fact that it happened twice in a span of one month, raises more questions than answers.
This week, the President travelled to Europe and today he gave a strong address on EU-Kenya and EU-Africa cooperation, focusing on green transition and industrialization. He emphasized on the ‘climate emergency’ as the world approaches COP28 and discuss challenges in financial reform and debt distress.

However, a report by Kenyans.co.ke indicate that the European Union has given Kenya a Ksh. 3.3 Billion grant for kenya to improve her electricity system. Question remains; Was this part of the bigger plan?
This report makes the power outage across the country including the Kenyan International Airport questionable. This is because it makes it look like the system wanted it to look like we have a problem in our electricity system for them to receive the grant.
But all in all, kenyans welcome the grant by the European Union. All they ask is the money to be put into good use. The government to be accountable to it. Allowing such grants to end up in the pockets of individuals is what is derailing developments.
Kenyans hope that the 2.4T IMF loan that was approved just the other day and the the additional 1.8T will go towards bettering the lives and boosting developments. That’s all we ask. Therefore, that was the possible Power Blackout End Game
