Politicians from different political devide have turned the cost of living to a political tool that they use to push their selfish political interests as kenyans continue to feel the pain
In their utterances, most are trying so hard to please their masters even when they know that the shoe is hurting the common mwananchi. Claiming to be doing the most while in fact, they doing the least to make the situation better.
Others pretend to be knowing the plight of kenyans when in fact they are out to push their political mileage in the best way they can as they prepare for 2027.

Yesterday, Kenya Kwanza and Azimio MPs traded verbal words at a fundraiser held at North Mugirango on Saturday as the two political camps continue to differ over the cost of living.
Kenya Kwanza MPs urged Kenyans to be patient, pointing out that the government had found itself between a hard rock and a hard place where it was forced to prioritise servicing the country’s ballooning national debt.
Countering the narrative, Azimio MPs who attended the meeting said that the major driver behind the high cost of living was the Kenya Kwanza government’s taxation appetite claiming that the government had the power to reduce taxation and cut fuel prices as a means to reduce the cost of living but claimed that the Executive had refused to do so.

Meanwhile, Kenyans continue to suffer with most of them treating the Christmas day as a normal day and others deciding to remain in the city as the cost of living worsens. Questions remain as to who will speak for kenyans genuinely.
