Police officers allegedly prevented Busia Senator from filing Omtatah’s report against President William Ruto over the sword remarks he made late last week.
According to reports, the Busia Senator who has been giving the government sleepless nights due to his petitions in court against the government, had gone to Nyanchwa Police Station to file the report before he was turned away.
The Senator was referred to Nyanchwa Police Station from Mosocho Police Station in Kitutu Chache South where he had gone to file the report earlier.

According to Omtatah, President William Ruto is targeting him and others in a bid to thwart his policies during a church function at Cardinal High School, Mosocho where he conducted a fundraiser.
The remarks according to Omtatah were directed to him due to his involvement in the Housing Levy case that was declared unconstitutional by the High Court therefore has every reason to believe that his life was now in danger and thus the idea of Omtatah’s Report against President Ruto.
“I am one of those who took the matter to court and that is why I am here to report this matter to the police. I was given a cordial welcome by Mosocho police station officers but they sent me here (Nyanchwa Police Station) . I am dismayed that the OCPD cannot accept my statement.

Officer in Charge of Nyanchwa Police Post declined to speak to the media during the incident. He walked out of the police station without a word.
The President is quoted to have said that he will use the sword tondeal with people who are sabotaging his projects including the Housing Project through the courts, signaling an iron fist against them.
“You gave me the powers. All these people who want to block us will face me. I will deal with them, I just need your prayer. I was given a big sword (during his inauguration), do you think that Sword is for cutting vegetables? Is it not for slashing these conmen? I will slash them for real.”
