Police Officers have finally released details of the accident that killed Eric Omondi’s brother, Fred Omondi in Nairobi on Saturday June 15th.
According to the police reports, the accident happened on Saturday 6 AM along Kangundo Road in Nairobi near Caltex Petrol Station. Fred was on a motorcycle at the time of his death.

The report indicate that Fred Omondi’s rider was driving at the wrong side of the road before colliding head on with a Kayole bus, Forward Sacco KCC 126A driven by Stephen Maina from Kayole.
As a result, Fred Omondi died on the spot after the impact of the head on collision while his rider sustained serious multiple injuries to both his legs and hands. He was taken to Mama Lucy Hospital while Fred Omondi was taken to the same facility mortuary.
Eric Omondi, while confirming the death of his brother, posted an emotional message, “My brother 💔It is not well. God receive you, till next time.” with a song that they have both recorded together dressed in all white.
The song which talks about bad leadership that has plundered the electorate into despair and suffering, is a show of how close Eric was with his brother with the comedian lately engaging in championing for justice for the people.
Other celebrities, politicians and friends have also sent their condolences to the family of Fred Omondi and his brother, Eric Omondi after the news of the tragic accident hit the socials.

Nameless, Mammito, Churchill, who was his boss at some time, Jalang’o and Millicent Omanga are some of the celebrities that have sent their condolences. More information about the burial arrangements will be communicated by the family.
