The Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC) has announced power interruption areas in three counties on Sunday 3rd December 2023.
The affected areas will experience power outage for the better part of the day. Starting from 9 AM till in the evening around 5 PM or thereabout.
Nairobi County:-
Parts Of Industrial Area.
Affected areas will be Wasib Solutions LTD, KCB industrial area, Stanbic bank, ABC bank, Whole of Darsalam Road, Biselex Kenya Ltd, Okar Engineering works, UTL, Leather Masters, Whole of Butere road, Posta, Garage Road, part of Bandari rd, Mark Fries, Changamwe Rd, Dakar Rd, KCC depot and other adjacent customers.

Part of Eastleigh Area
Muratina Rd, Jam Strt, Part of Ushirika, Mkunga Rd, Strawberry Plaza, Hombe Rd, Juja Corner, Juja B Towers and adjacent customers in the area.
Huruma Area
Moi Forces Academy, Nissi Petrol Station, Redeemed Church Huruma and other adjacent customers in the area.
Machakos County:-
Machakos Town Area.
Machakos Town CBD, Machakos University, parts of Kenya Israel, County Commissioners offices and other adjacent customers.
Part of Wote Road area.
People’s Park, Kimutwa, kalama, Katoloni, Muumandu, Kola, Nyayo Girls, Mutulani Market and other adjacent customers in the area.
Kisii County.
Nyamira Town and Miruka
Nyamira Level 5 Hospital, County Commissioners office, Governor’s Office, Nyamira County Police Headquarters, KMTC, Nyabite Market, Egesieri Market, Nyamaiya Market, Motobo Market, Miruka Market, Masosa Market and other adjacent customers.
Customers from the power interruption areas have been advised to seek alternative means of power during the day. The interruptions are part of KPLC’s efforts to improve power services to their customers.

Power will however be restored in the evening to normalcy. Customers are advised to seek alternatives as they wait for power restoration in the affected areas.
