Atleast two people have been feared dead while scores others have been injured after the Eldoret Express bus they were travelling in was involved in an accident.
According to reports, the 62 seater Eldoret Express Bus was involved in a road accident at Muguga area in Kikuyu, Kiambu County on Saturday morning leading to the deaths and injuries.
The 5:30AM incident was confirmed by the Kikuyu Police Commander Ronald Kirui who said that the Eldoret Express Company bus rammed into a fuel tanker that had stalled on the road.

The bus driver is said to have lost control and hit the truck from behind that was stationary. However, further investigations into the incident is still underway to reveal what exactly happened.
According to reports, the bus was travelling from Nakuru heading to Nairobi when the unfortunate incident happened that led to high traffic pile up along the busy road.
The injured were however rushed to various hospitals within the kikuyu area as the deaths that were reported taken to the morgue as identification of the bodies by their family is still underway.
This comes as a series of accidents within the country continue to be reported citing concerns over the rising cases of deaths and injuries due to road accidents in the recent past.

Police officers have however advised drivers and road users to be careful especially this time of the season with rains and fog on roads. This has reduced visibility causing the rise of accidents in various parts of the country.
