A viral video has exposed a passenger fighting with a conductor on the famous Thika Road over Ksh. 100 bob fare.
According to reports, a fight ensued with the conductor after the said passenger made payments meant for fare with mobile money before reversing the said transaction back to his mobile money account.
Upon realising this, the conductor demanded that the passenger produces evidence that he had paid fare, which the passenger declined to do, stating that the conductor should check the name Brian.

However, the passenger also declined to reveal his second name for a follow up. This led to a heated argument with the conductor claiming that there was no such name on his phone.
“You will not touch my phone. If you feel like taking me to Central Police Station, then do it.”
The conductor suspected that the said passenger was using clever tactics to avoid paying the Ksh100 fare which made him more and more irritated over the passenger.
“Where’s the message? All these other passengers have paid and have shown their messages, why is it that you are the only one causing chaos.”
Angered by the rants from the conny passenger, the conductor held him by his neck, which led to a physical fight between the duo.

Other passengers got involved and assisted the conductor in dragging the passenger towards the door as they sought to have him alight. “Pay the fare or exit the vehicle. Show the message if you have paid,” shouted other passengers.
However, it was later revealed that the man had paid the Ksh. 100 but decided to immediately reverse, an action that forced him to be adamant in giving access to his phone.
