Only two bodies of the pupils who burnt to death at the Hillside Endarasha Academy fire tragedy have been positively identified by their family out of 21 as the process starts today.
According to reports from the Naromoru Level 4 Hospital Morgue, only two bodies of Pupils who died in the tragedy have been identified because the rest were burnt beyond recognition in the tragedy that shook the nation.
However, the identification process of the bodies will kick off today at the morgue facility with other means of identification set to be applied to resolve mysteries of parents that are yet to identify their son’s bodies.

According to sources close to the NTV investigators, many of the students who perished in the fire were burned so severely it was impossible to identify them by the naked eye.
DNA testing on the bodies retrieved from Hillside Endarasha scene will be the identifying factor which according to experts could take weeks, possibly months to be finalised.
The government only has two complete bodies; that of a student who died at the Mary Immaculate Hospital while receiving treatment and another student lost the battle on Saturday morning after being taken to Kenyatta National Hospital for further treatment.
Parents of students that were believed to have burnt in the ill fated dormitory will assemble at the Naromoru Level 4 Hospital to kick-start the process of identification, a process that will be tedious and emotional for them.

However, the government has promised to cater for the hospital bills for the victims of the fire and cater for all the funeral expenses of the pupils that have been positively identified and ready for burial at their respective homes.
