Nyambaria High-school has once again hit the headlines on a bad light in the schools caught cheating KCSE. This is after reports claim that students in the school sitting for national exams chased away exam officials.
This is after they claimed that the officials were harassing and intimidating them. Last week, the school was on the spot for exam malpractice that saw the school principal suspended.
Charles Onyari, the principal doubling up as an examination center manager was suspended for facilitating exam malpractice at the school. READ: Nyambaria Principal Suspended For Alleged Exam Irregularity
According to reports, the students became unruly on Tuesday and chased away exam officials who were invigilating the exams. This saw a stream of more exam officials and police officers into the school to control the situation.
Last week, a group of senators from Nyamira county pointed fingers at the Kenya National Examination Council and Ministry of Education at large. They claimed that students from the region are being treated unfairly in the ongoing national examinations.

This year, the examination body has tightened the grip in the region to ensure nothing of the same repeats. Most of the cheating cases have been fished out from the region, the latest being Nyanchwa, where a private candidate was caught with a mobile phone with examination papers.
