Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua allies have decried Intimidation by the government after being turned into suspects over the chaos that were caused at a burial in Limuru.
Led by Senator Karungo Thang’wa, the allies have accused the government of turning them into suspects with possible arrests and planned intimidation by the government through the security agencies over their support for Rigathi Gachagua.
According to Thang’wa, the police invited them in Nyeri to provide information as a victim to help police officers to bring the perpetrators to book. But after delayed tactics, the police have turned them to suspects claiming they caused the chaos.

With him was Senator Methu and Member of Parliament Gathoni Wa muchomba who have also insisted on their stand with the former Deputy President despite the intimidating tactics by the government.
“We are unsafe. Our phones are tapped and we cannot communicate with normal calls because our phones are monitored. We are fearing because we currently don’t know what is being planned around our lives. But we will not be intimidated from supporting Rigathi Gachagua,” said Gathoni Wamuchomba.
