After weeks of speculations and uncertainties, detectives have finally uncovered the mystery behind the missing taxi driver whose vehicle was found after she disappeared.
According to latest reports, detectives have found body believed to be the missing taxi driver, Victoria Mumbua Muloki at the Nairobi City Mortuary after weeks of searching around the country
Reports indicate that the detectives were led to the mortuary after an intense interrogation session with the suspect, Edwin Ng’etich, who was found with the deceased’s stolen motor vehicle days after she went missing.

According to investigations and the mortuary reports, the body was found in a thicket within Mai Mahiu next to a road in Lari, Kiambu County before it was checked into the morgue and booked on September 29, 2024.
This comes after the prime suspect in the case, Edwin Ng’etich was arrested in Nakuru while driving Muloki’s motor vehicle. He opened up to detectives after intense questioning about the missing driver.
However reports indicate that he led police to the location where he dumped the body before they were directed to Nairobi City Mortuary where they found the body dumped there.
Muloki’s family in Mombasa has been notified. The family say they will be travelling to Nairobi to conduct further identification processes, including DNA profiling, as police plan for a postmortem examination to determine the cause of death.
