A popular Mt Kenya MP was pictured breaking down into tears as Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua knelt down to be prayed for on Sunday.
According to reports, Juja Member of Parliament George Koimburi couldn’t hold his tears as Gachagua took to his knees to be prayed for against his planned impeachment motion set to be tabled in parliament this week.
The MP who was in company of the DP and a strong ally of Gachagua is seen with a white clothe as emotions ran high forcing him to break down to tears. Gachagua urged the faithfuls to pray for Ruto.

“It is my hope that sanity will prevail, we tone down on politics of division and we work for Kenyans. We were elected two years ago and we have not yet done the work that we promised to do.”
“The will of the people was that we lead them for five years, let us respect that will of the people. Let’s avoid politics of division, politics of hatred,” said the Deputy President in the church function.
This comes after reports emerged that over 300 MPs have already signed the motion to impeach the Deputy President with the motion expected to be tabled by Tuesday this week in the floor of the house.
Among reasons for Impeachment allegedly lined up to form basis of impeachment is Leaking state secrets, Sponsoring goons during Protests, corruption and even insurbodination against his boss, President William Ruto.

However, Gachagua has alleged that his detractors are hell-bent on kicking him out of office, claiming that Members of Parliament are being offered Ksh.5 million to support the impeachment motion
