Cabinet Secretary in the Ministry of Public Service Performance and Delivery Management, Moses Kuria has responded to reports that his ministry was hiring former Citizen TV news anchor Jacque Maribe.
In a post on his X account, Moses Kuria denied reports of making any comments regarding the hiring and appointment of Jacque Maribe in his Ministry as the head of communication.
Refuting claims made by one of the dailies that he had been interviewed and claimed that the Public Service Commission had hired her, the CS called out Nation CEO and told him to provide evidence over the same.

“Contrary to reports by the Nation, I have never been interviewed by the media House nor made any comment nor announcement about Jacque Maribe. I have challenged CEO Stephen Gitagama to provide evidence from one Mwangi Muiruri who wrote the article.”
This comes after Public Service Commission denied that Jacque Maribe has not been hired by the commission and that they are not aware of her appointment as the head of communication in the Public Service Performance and Delivery Management.
“I have since alerted Mr Gitagama that the said screenshot is a forgery. And I will be at DCI Headquarters at 9.30am tomorrow to report the Nation Media Group and the reporter of fraud and forgery.”
Speaking about the viral video where the CS was seen accompanied by Jacque Maribe in Nakuru, the CS said that she has been his friend for the last 16 years and she will stand with her against all odds.
