Activist Morara Kebaso has reportedly been involved in an accident with his team as he was coming from Embu where he was inspecting government projects.
According to reports, Morara Kebaso was involved in the accident that took place minutes on the evening of Sunday between 7 pm and 8 pm and the activist confirmed through his social media platforms of the same.
“I have been involved in a road accident side collision in Kivwe Embu County,the accident was caused by a drunk driver who hit the side of the vehicle as he was speeding off..”

However, the tyres of the Prado he was travelling in all got burst and airbags deployed which prevented injuries of the occupants being him and his team that were travelling with.
Morara had taken the civic tour to Tharaka Nithi County to inspect stalled projects. One of the projects he inspected is Chogoria – Weru – Marima road allocated Ksh1 billion in 2019 to a company that doesn’t exist
Morara had earlier attended a service at Chuka University Christian Union where he shared on the need for students to stand up for their country.
“I spoke about the need for university students to rise in many ways and defend their nation. I also spoke about the defilement of places of worship and why we should not give up hope in bringing change to our country,”

Residents of Embu surprised the activist with cash gifts in support of his civic education campaigns. It comes as Morara had offered to refund money to people who feel they were conned.
