A man who appeared in a viral video that has sparked heated debate om on the socials has landed one of the three men in a tough situation after he was identified and banned by a local football club- Mathare Women FC.
Releasing the statement, Mathare Women FC identified one of the men in the video as “Ronaldo” who according to the club has been their supporter and a frequent visitor in their offices.
However, the video that has now gone viral online has exposed the true identity of “Ronaldo” after insinuating and blaming the victims who have gone through the femicide cases that have been on the rise in recent months.

“This is Bunge la Mwananchi bana. Let me tell you. Men have suffered because of these women. Imetuguza ata sisi, we have daughters. We are going to kill you, we are going to kill you. I cannot take you to Pizza, you eat my money. You women are going to die. Ati unataka pesa ya mwanaume? Come on! Mtakufa sana… Na bado!”
This video prompted the club to release the statement after identifying one of their fans being not only in support of the sentiments but also uttering the same without fear of contradiction.
“After video footage emerged yesterday of one of our fans, Ronaldo, insulting and giving irresponsible remarks that promote violence against women, we have decided as a team to permanently ban him from attending our matches, coming to our premises.”

The club also said that they will cease to associate with him or any characters like him who promote violence of any nature against people.
“The club bars him associating with our team in any manner. Mathare United Women Team will not tolerate characters like him, who promote violence not only against women but against any human being.”
