The Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC) has announced and listed four counties that will experience power outage on Tuesday as they work to improve efficiency and correct faults.
In a statement in their social media platforms, the power provider listed the following counties; Nairobi, Kakamega, Kilifi and Kisii. However, various areas within these counties will be affected as listed below.

Areas set to experience power outage on Tuesday.
NAIROBI COUNTY
Areas set to be affected include Kahawa Sukari around Family Access Medical, Zebra House and adjacent customers. Parts of Kilimani will also be affected and areas include part of Dennis Rift Road, Kayabwe Road, part of Lenana Road, Part of Argwings Kodhek Road, Wood Avenue, Galana Road, Cotton Road and adjacent customers.
KAKAMEGA COUNTY.
The power outage will affect various areas in the county including Kaburengu market, Matete, Butali Sugar, Shivanga, Tombo Market, Tachoni, Jaggery and adjacent customers
KISII COUNTY.
Areas set to be affected include Kanyimbo, Nyatieko, Mbanda, Nyagesenda, Ragogo, Manga Isecha, Nyakiogiro, Sensi, Geteri, Kegogi, Metembe and adjacent customers.

KILIFI COUNTY.
Power interruptions which will happen between 8:30 am and 4:00 pm will affect parts of Mwango, Mtondia, Tezo, Chumani, Roka, Magorani, Zowerani, Ngerenya and adjacent customers.
According to the power provider, the affected areas aforementioned above are set to experience power outage for the better part of Tuesday but customers should expect normalcy before or at 5 PM.
Customers are advised to prepare accordingly and get alternative sources of power in the areas that will be affected.

Kenya Power continues to ensure that faulty lines and transformers are rectified on various areas across the country. Customers are advised to report any vandalism or faulty cases to the power provider to ensure that they are responded and rectified as soon as possible.
