The Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC) has announced Wednesday blackout that will affect six counties.
According to the power provider, the six counties will experience power outage from approximately 9 AM to 5PM in the evening. The counties have also been listed in sub sections that will experience Wednesday blackout.
The counties include; parts of Nairobi, Makueni, Kajiado, Migori, Kiambu and Kilifi counties. Customers in these regions have been advised to seek power alternatives on Wednesday.

NAIROBI COUNTY.
KPLC listed Dandora phase 1-5, parts of Councilor Opondo Road, Gitari, Marigu and adjacent customers will face power outage on Wednesday.
MAKUENI COUNTY
Kiboko market and Masimba market will also experience power outage. Also, Residents around Utini, Matuu, Makutano, Yikivumbu, Vololo, Ngaaka and adjacent areas .
MIGORI COUNTY. –Kehancha and Ntimaru areas
Areas to be affected by Wednesday blackout include Kehancha Town, Migori Airstrip, Kefri, Nyanchabo, Masaba and Nyamamagagana Kurutyange, Ikerege, Tarawiti, Koego, Nyametaburo, Karosi, St Kizito, Maeta, Kegonga, Igena, Nyabikongori, Kebarisia, Mosweto, Nyamutiro, Kebaroti, Makararangwe, Ntimaru and adjacent customers.
KIAMBU COUNTY– Kahawa Sukari and Wendani areas.
Parts in Kiambu to be affected include part of KU University, Clean Shelf Wendani, Magunas Wendani, Royal Homes, Playway Academy, Quickmart, Wendani Hospital, Zetech and Rainbow Hotel, Ruiru.
In addition, Waki, Agape, Mijicare, part of Kihunguro, part of KU Mortuary, Unicity Mall, National Oil, Naivas and adjacent customers.

KAJIADO COUNTY
Areas to be affected by Wednesday Power Interruptions in Kajiado include Ilpolosat SGR and adjacent areas.
KILIFI COUNTY. – Baricho and Vipingo areas.
Areas to be affected include Kakanjuni, Ganze, Vitengeni, Longombaya, Sokoke, Matano Manne, Palakumi, Pentanguo, Mwapule, Dzikunze, Mnarani, Mavueni, New Life, Vipingo and Shauri Moyo.
Still in Kilifi, Kadzinuni, Chasimba, Jaribuni, Mwarakaya, Pwani Oil, Tiger Packaging, Flamboyant, Vipingo Industries and adjacent customers will also be affected.
