The Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC) has released a list of counties and areas within the counties that will be affected by power interruptions on Monday.
According to Kenya Power, the interruptions on Monday are meant to increase efficiency and repair faulty areas within their grid on the listed areas.
The counties to be affected by the Power Interruptions on Monday include; Nyeri, Kisii, Nyamira, Kiambu and Nandi counties. The following areas will be affected within the above counties.

NYERI COUNTY
Areas that will be affected in Nyeri County include; Gikororo, Kahuru Mkt, Ndima T/Factory, Kiaruhiu, Gathaithi, Mathia, Canteen, Gitangaruri, Ndima Kanini, Kahuro TBC, Ndiriti, Kiang’ombe, Gathambi, Muragara, Kanyai TBC, Kiambagathi, Mihuru TBC, Mununga and adjacent customers
KIAMBU COUNTY Power interruptions on Monday
Parts of Kiambu County that will experience the Monday Blackout include Ngethu Water Works Upper Camp, Gathugu, Kagonye, Kiriko Mission, Kariminu Dam, Kanyoni, Ndiko, Gakoe, Thuraku, Mwimuto, Gachege, Njahi, Karatu, Karinga, Gitwe, Wanugu, Ndarugu, Gacharage Water, Kirangi and adjacent customers.
NYAMIRA COUNTY power interruptions on Monday
In Nyamira, the following will have no power on Monday; Manga DC, Ritongo Booster, Juvenile, Manga Sengera, Nyaisa and adjacent customers.
NANDI COUNTY.
In Nandi, the utility firm noted that KCC Lessos, Emdin, Terige, Kapnyeberai, Kilibwoni Center and adjacent customers will experience the outage.

KISII COUNTY
In Kisii, Kenya Power noted that kisii town and the adjacent areas in town will experience power outage for the better part of the day.
According to KPLC report, the Monday Blackout will run for the better part of the day and will be expected to run repairs affecting power supply from approximately 9 AM to 5 PM in the evening.
Customers in the aforementioned areas are advised to seek alternative power supply as they wait for power restoration in the evening as KPLC strives to improve efficiency in the affected areas.
