The Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) has dismissed reports and romours going round on social media claiming that Nyambaria tops in KCSE 2023 Examination Results.
The examination council flagged a post thatbwas claiming that the Nyamira national school topped the country for the second year in a row with a mean grade of A saying it’s false and misleading.
The viral post has amazed kenyans on social media with most sending congratulatory messages to the school despite being involved in malpractice scuffle in the just released Examination.

The results were also shared by Nyamira County Senator Okong’o Omogeni who congratulated the school for its alleged exemplary performance.

The school is a center of interest with most kenyans waiting to know how it will perform due to how students and teachers in the school handled themselves during the examination period.
The principal Charles Onyari was also suspended for allegedly being involved in exam irregularities by aiding the students and the students chased away exam officials, complaining of intrusive searches, an incident that made the headlines back in November.
KNEC however did not disclose the top school in the country despite dismissing the fake results Ranking Nyambaria as the top school overally in Kenya. , KNEC has advised students to check their results on the KNEC RESULTS PORTAL
This comes after Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu released the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examination results at the Moi Girls High School Eldoret and advised students, parents and guardians to access Results via the website.
Previously, students accessed Results through SMS but the discrepancies witnessed in the KCPE 2023 results forced the Ministry to come up with a website for the result release to avoid errors witnessed in the results.
