Kenyans on social media have declared war on President William Ruto’s Cabinet Secretary Hassan Joho for calling them busybodies and telling President Ruto not to worry about them.
Speaking in Wundanyi, Taita-Taveta County, Mining Cabinet Secretary Hassan Joho said that a country cannot be built by people whose life revolves around Tiktok, Twitter, Instagram and Facebook and assured the President that he will deal with them.
“A country cannot be built through the internet. It cannot be built by people whose work revolves around Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. Let me put them on notice. We can also talk. If they bring us trouble, we can also bring trouble.”

However, these utterances have stirred reactions from across social media platforms and users who have also declared war against Hassan Joho, promising to expose his rogue deals claiming that he provoked thrm and “it’s time to walk the talk”
Led by social media guru Cyprian Nyakundi, the online user asked everyone who has any information that implicates Hassan Joho to send it to him anonymously so that he can “expose” him without fear over the sentiments that he made in the coast.
“Send me all info about Joho, including his deals, companies, things he has done or he is doing, girlfriends, what he eats and everyhting even Mipango ya kando. You can use this disposable email that can never be tracked temp-mail.org/en/. You as a Kenyan know him better,” Nyakundi posted.
Nyakundi, who has over 1 Million followers on X, Popularly known as Twitter received a traction within few hours with people posting information on his replies but has not revealed whether people have sent more to his email address.

However, Joho insisted that the real work is happening on the ground and not online and called social media users to stop criticising everything and allow the government to work.
