The Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC) has released a list of areas in various counties that will experience Wednesday power blackout across the country.
According to the utility provider, the power interruptions and Blackout on Wednesday will be experienced from approximately 8AM to 5PM in the evening across Kenya after which power will be restored.

NAIROBI COUNTY- Parklands Area.
In Parklands, Nairobi, second and third Parklands Avenues, Kusi Lane and Ngao Rd & adjacent customers will be affected.
In Muthaiga also in Nairobi, Thika Rd, Ramanda, Muthaiga North Rd, Utalii Village, NYS, NIS, KISM, Survey of Kenya, GSU & adjacent customers will be affected
WESTERN REGION- Chiga Area.
In addition to Nairobi region, Wildor School, K. Ochieng Centre, Kausi Mkt, Nyamonge, Tom Owuor, Mayienya Sec Sch, Chiga Mkt, Obumba Sch, Kasese Mkt, Masawa, Kasarani, Hera Church, Rweya, Bungu & adjacent customers.
KAKAMEGA COUNTY – Lutaso areas.
In Kakamega, areas to be affected include; Lutaso Mkt, Nancy Academy, Mukhweso Junction, Navakholo Mkt, Dorofu Mkt & adjacent customers.
SOUTH NYANZA REGION- BURLUM, SEKA, RAMBIRA areas.
Kotieno, Makaka, Seka, Kamser Seka, Rambira, Karabondi, Kajiei, Rakwaro, Osodo, Kobala, Burlum, Konyach & adjacent customers.
NYAMIRA COUNTY
In Nyamira, Sanganyi, Kebirigo, Makairo, Sironga, Konate, Miruka, Nyamira Town & adjacent customers will be affected by Wednesday Power Blackout.

EMBU COUNTY- KIVAA, MASAKU Areas.
In Embu, Kivaa Mkt, Kengen Hydro Plaza, Kyaani Mkt, Kyaani Pri, Kanguu, Masaku, Ngetani, Kyangosi, Nunguni, Kathui Pri & adjacent customers.
KPLC has advised customers to seek alternative means of power as they conduct repairs in the affected areas for the better part of the day on Wednesday.
