The Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC) has listed five counties set to experience Tuesday power blackout across the country.
According to reports, the power blackout across these counties will happen from appropriately 9 AM to 5 PM in the evening as the company works on repairs.
The counties that will be affected include; Nairobi, Kiambu Uasin Gishu, Homabay and kwale Counties. The affected areas in these counties are listed below.

Counties To Experience Tuesday Power Blackout
Parts of Nairobi County( 9:00Am to 5:00pm)
The blackout will affect parts of Karen including Karen County Club, Karen Road, Kibo Lane, Quarry Lane, DOD Karen and adjacent customers.
Parts of Kiambu County( 9:00Am to 5:00pm)
Areas that will be affected include St Paul’s University, Tigoni Farm, ACK Church Primary Kabuku, Gracia Water, Dr Jerry Ng’ethe, Majiri, Marieta, Flora Delight Flowers, National Bank Kabuku, Brown Cheese, Limuru Country Club, Tigoni Hospital, Tigoni Police, Muguga Pyrethrum, Kenchic, Barua Residence, and adjacent customers.
Parts of Uasin Gishu ( 9:00Am to 4:00pm)
Areas that will be affected include Belkenya, Momoniat, Ngeria Water, Ngecheck, Kapnyamisa, Lelboinet, Ndubenet, Ngara Falls, Lengebet, Mogoget, Mateget, Kipsasuron, Kolonget and adjacent customers.

Parts Homa Bay county( 9:00Am to 5:00pm
Areas that will be affected include; Rapora Koyani, Pamela Boya, Usao, Lwanda, Osodo, Kayanja, Mirunda, Ponge Health Centre, Gembe and adjacent customers.
Parts of Kwale County ( 9:00Am to 5:00pm)
Areas that will be affected include Kennaway, Almanara, Neptune, Sonrisa, Queens Chateau, Mwisho wa Lami, Chale, Desert Moon, Diani Homes, Pinewood, Bokoboko, Trisicon, Kaya Kinondo, Galu Beach, Kanu, Lantana and adjacent customers.
The Kenya Power and Lighting Company noted that customers residing in these areas should seek alternatives for today’s power blackout as it aims to make repairs to avoid future blackouts in these areas.
