This comes after the journalist was involved in an altercation with Public Service CS Moses Kuria after the latter claimed foul play in the article written about Maribe’s appointment as the Head of Communications in his Ministry.
According to Kuria, the message of Jacque Maribe appointment was forged and hence did not represent the correct facts about the situation. The CS, however, noted that he would stand with the former news anchor.
“Contrary to reports by the Nation, I have never been interviewed by the media House nor made any comment nor announcement about Jacque Maribe,” CS Kuria noted
The CS further asked the Nation media CEO to produce evidence from Mwangi Muiruri and reported the matter to the DCI
“I have since alerted Mr Gitagama that the said screenshot is a forgery and I will be at DCI Headquarters at 9.30 am tomorrow to report the Nation Media Group and the reporter of fraud and forgery.”
