Former Citizen TV news anchor Jacque Maribe has landed a government job weeks after the high court acquitted her of murder against Nairobi businesswoman Monica Kimani.
According to reports, Jacque Maribe has landed a job in Moses Kuria’s Ministry of Public Service, Performance and Delivery Management as the head of communication.
Reports indicate that Jacque Maribe’s first assignment was to draft a media invite that was welcoming media houses to Moses Kuria Cup Tournament that happened on Saturday, 9th of March 2024.

In the release, the letter described the aim of the invite, the function to be pricided over by Moses Kuria, chief guest to be DP Rigathi Gachagua, the invite ended by Maribe noting her name on the botton of the page with her number to show that she was the officer in charge of the communication.
This comes just weeks after the former Citizen TV news anchor was exonerated of all charges that were levied against her on the murder of Monica Kimani back in 2018.
Her co accused Jowie Irungu who also is her former boyfriend is yet to be sentenced after he was found guilty of the murder of the businesswoman in her house.
Jowie who was to be sentenced on Friday got his sentencing to be moved forward to this week due to the late submissions that were done by all parties involved. The judge thus gave each party days to go through submissions before sentencing.
However, both the ministry and Jacque Maribe are yet to confirm about the job, the details nd make public the position officially.
