Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu is expected to release the 2024 Form One Placement results today at Lenana School.
According to the Cabinet Secretary, the choice and placements were done according to candidate choices and other criterias. More than one million candidates who sat the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) will receive their 2024 Form One Placement results today.
“Some students were placed in schools of equivalent standing outside their counties. This includes those from counties with inadequate capacity.” The CS stated.

The CS emphasised that the government is committed to ensure that 100% transition from Primary School to various Secondary Schools is achieved. Therefore, all students that sat for the KCPE exams and released their results will be placed in various secondary schools within and outside their home counties.
“Gov’t upholds its commitment to providing free day secondary education which includes allocation for tuition and operation expenses. The fees charged in secondary schools will remain unchanged in 2024. Schools will continue to receive funds based on accurate enrolment data.”

HOW TO CHECK 2024 FORM ONE PLACEMENT RESULTS
The ministry of education has said that candidates should check their results by:

- Click OPEN in the 2024 Form One Selection and Placement Tab
- Enter the Candidate’s Index number and their name in boxes provided
- You’ll immediately receive the 2024 Form One Placement results for your candidate.

The ministry has also said that this placement will not be Erroneous and is 100% correct. The website will be operational and will not be in anyway corrupted
“I assure Kenyans that this website has been tested and proven and is 100% accurate. It is in operation.”
Only candidates that sat for their KCPE exams in 2023 will receive their 2024 Form One Placement results that will be released today.
