Days after reports emerged that seven kenyan police officers have already lost their lives in Haiti days after deployment, the government through the National Police Service has come out to address the death reports.
Speaking through their social media platforms, the National Police Service dismissed the reports of death of officers in Haiti that have been going through different platforms that Haiti Gangs have overpowered the kenyan police.

The reports emerged after a viral clip was shared showing police officers lying dead on the ground but reports suggest that the said police are neither in Haiti nor have they been overpowered by the criminal gangs.
This comes after the notorious Haiti Gang Leader Berbecue sent chilling warning to the kenya police upon arrival in Haiti, vowing to fight kenyan police with his numerous gang members and powerful weapons.
“I don’t care if they are white or black. If they’re not Haitian and they’re on Haitian soil, they’re invaders. It’s a bloodbath, It’s a fight for the country, and I will fight for it even if I die I am sure there will be successors and there will be other people who will continue with this fight.”
However, several clips have still surfaced showing the first batch of kenya police that was released last week already doing patrols in the streets of Haiti Capital Port-au-Prince.
It’s still not yet clear if they have encountered any of the Haiti gangs in their patrols. President Ruto insisted that he has confidence in the kenya police team and will ensure peace is restored in Haiti.
