The Kenyan government under the Employment Authority has announced 1700 nursing opportunities in Saudi Arabia and has encouraged graduates to apply as soon as possible.
According to the advertisement on the National Employment Authority Integrated Management System (NEAIMS), candidates with as low as a diploma in nursing can apply for these nursing opportunities in Saudi Arabia.
This comes after President William Ruto promised more jobs for youths and graduates abroad as he seeks to export both skilled and unskilled labour overseas.

DETAILS: There are 500 positions available for Personal Assistants/Health Care Assistants, with salaries of 2000 Saudi Riyals, or Ksh. 91,371
REQUIREMENTS: Applicants are required to have a Certificate in Care Giving, a Certificate in Community Health Nursing, or an Enrolled Community Nursing certificate
However, female candidates between the ages of 22 and 35 will be given consideration for the two-year contract openings in the above opportunity.
DETAILS: About 1000 nursing jobs are available which will pay 3000 Saudi Riyals per month (approximately Ksh. 124,596) and are for a two-year contract. Other benefits include meal allowances of 300 Saudi Riyals and a promise that more experienced nurses will be considered for higher pay.
REQUIREMENTS: This opportunity require applicants to have recently graduated with a diploma in nursing from a kenyan medical institution.
DETAILS: About 200 one-year contract nursing and midwifery openings have also been listed. The job offer will come with 4,700 Saudi Riyals (approximately Ksh.195,197) per month as salary for the position.
