President William Ruto has today landed in the country using Kenya Airways Commercial flight barely months after kenyans called him out when he used a private jet in his flight to US.
Ruto who travelled to Italy before visiting Switzerland has faced condemnation from kenyans for being extravagant in his travel costs while urging kenyans to tighten their belts over economical challenges.

In his visit to the US, President Ruto allegedly spent close to Ksh71 Million on a private jet, alleging that the cost was cheaper than that of the Kenya Airways, which kenyans called him out for, accusing him of not promoting the national carrier.
The President was received in the country by Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki, Principal Secretary Raymond Omollo, National Assembly Majority Leader Kimani Ichung’wah and Senate Majority Leader Aaron Cheruiyot.
However, of concern was the Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua who was missing from the team that received the President from his trip amids romours of wrangles between the two UDA leaders.
This comes just a day after Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua accused people close to the President of bossing him around and not respecting him as the Deputy President.
“There are some people who are friends with the President who want to be my boss. Just because you are the President’s friend you want to become my boss?”

However, the DP was among the people who bid goodbye to President Ruto when he left for Italy to attend the G7 summit on Thursday but tactically missing from his reception team.
