An extra County school in Nandi has impressed kenyans after it recorded a 100% pass in the just announced Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examination results.
Tulwo Girls Secondary School, an extra county school in Mosop, Nandi county had a total number of 184 candidates in KCSE 2023 and impressively, the least student scored a C plus sending all registered candidates to direct university entry.
According to results accessed by NewsProjector, the school recorded four candidates with a score of A-, sixty three had B+ while ninety three registered B plain grade. Twenty two candidates in the class registered a B- while two candidates registered a C+.

The school recorded a positive improvement from the 2022 KCSE results where in 2022, the school recorded a mean of 8.0 while in 2023 KCSE Results, the school posted a mean of 9.245 taking all the registered 184 registered candidates to university.
The area MP Abraham Kirwa has congratulated the efforts of the school fraternity and the 2023 class for the impressive performance that has put the school in the National headlines.
“I Joined Tulwo Girls teaching fraternity, students and parents in congratulating the 2023 KCSE candidates for posting sterling performance producing a mean grade of 9.2. Indeed this school has done us proud. Congratulations to the girls.”
He also promised to better the infrastructure of a number of schools in Mosop as well as human resources to better national examination results in the future.

“We are dedicated and focused on quality education. We want to ensure that every secondary school here in Mosop will be sent if not all students to the University then should be 95 per cent. I am focused to such.”
The performance has left many kenyans impressed as it becomes the only school in the KCSE 2023 exam results to confirm such a performance by taking all candidates to university.
