Drama was witnessed in Milimani Law Courts after police produced Activist Morara Kebaso who was arrested yesterday from his office with no charge sheet
According to reports, the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) is yet to generate a charge sheet to show the reasons as to why Morara Kebaso was arrested and the charges that he will be arraigned in court for.
With the Activist were different lawyers and opposition leaders who are ready to defend him in court but upon asking for the charge sheet from the officers who had accompanied Morara, they were told to follow it up with the DPP.

“Unfortunately even up to now, they have not degenerated the charge sheet against Morara, but we are going to follow it up with Senior Counsel Martha Karua, Eugene Wamalwa at the Office of the DPP,” noted Lawyer Ndegwa Njiru.
This comes after dramatic arrest of Activist Morara Kebaso at his office in Kahawa Sukari after which he was circulated in different stations over the night as reported by one of his lawyer and close friend who was with him at the time of arrest.
Youths have however gathered outside the Milimani Law Courts in solidarity with the activist. Loud chants of Free Morara have hit the air with the lack of charge sheet taking the center stage on the tension outside the courtroom.

More updates about the case will be provided after the Director of Public Prosecutions provide the charge sheet with speculations suggesting that the DPP doesn’t have charges against the activist as per the time of publishing this article.
