The police’s reflex saved him because he reacted just in time to avoid what could have turned a tragic accident that could have claimed the life of the police officer.
Concerned citizens took to social media to share the video that captured the incident calling the National Police Service (NPS) to apprehend the culprit who endangeted the life of the officer.
However, it was not immediately clear why the Prado driver acted in the manner he did or he was transporting contraband goods or he was just evading traffic checks on the stop.
Some of the Kenyans commenting on the issue remarked that it was unfortunate that Kenyans with high-end vehicles did not respect the police saying that should it have been any other person, the situation would have been handled swiftly and promptly.
This comes after Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki banned road blocks on the road and said that Police Officers manning roads should do so without road blocks.
