Drama was witnessed in Nairobi CBD after activists blocked the attempted arrest of Activist Boniface Mwangi by police officers.
According to reports, the activists were participating in a peaceful march toward Harambee House where they aimed to present a list of protestors abducted during recent protests.
However, during the march, police officers approached and targeted Mwangi and tried to arrest him over his participation in protests and immediately a confrontation between activists and police officers ensued.

Videos seen by NewsProjector show activists physically confronting police officers and shouting to leave him alone and even engaged in a brawl between them and the officers attempting to make an arrest.
This comes after activists circulated a poster inviting kenyans for today’s march titled ‘Justice for Gen Z Mashujaas’ circulated on social media to head to Harambee House in Nairobi CBD.
“Families of the victims, active citizens, and civil society representatives will present a list of those who have disappeared to the office of the president.” read the poster that went viral.
However, their plans were thwarted by police officers who were strategically positioned in anticipation for the march after which fellow activist fought hard and prevented officers from taking Boniface Mwangi.
According to Mwangi, President Ruto said that he did not have any names of anyone who had disappeared or those who had been abducted and therefore the march was crucial to present the names to him

“Any family whose child or kin went to the demonstrations, whether it is last year or this year and never came back, I want to know their names, so that I can take firm and decisive action,” the President said then
