On this particular day, the five went live on tiktok trying to find buyers for their looyt. They also asked kenyans who will attend the Christina Shusho concert lined up on 31st December to carry their expensive gadgets. This they said was to make their loot worth it.
In a police statement, the five were apprehended and some of the items they were bragging with after mugging their victims were recovered.
“Upon search, a navy blue jacket that had been captured in the video recording, three iPhones, a Samsung phone, a Memojo phone, and a Bluetooth headphone, among other items, were recovered from them.”
